Holiday Traffic

It’s a year of constant uncertainty and the holidays are no exception. The CDC strongly recommended Americans not to travel over Thanksgiving, but millions still hit the highway. We too at Piedmont Delivery Service, were on the roads the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and ran into the holiday traffic as we were trying to make a delivery. Scott Martin with Quad Graphics in Nashville, Tennessee needed a part. Quad’s Nashville plant is a state-of-the-art web facility equipped with presses for fast production of retail inserts. Our driver was able to drop off the part at 5:30pm, just in time to get the plant back up and running. If travel is in your future this month, take heed of the recommended guidelines to stay safe, keeping stops to a minimum and opt for outdoor dining or drive through food to decrease interactions with other people.
