Together for Tomorrow

In 2017, Samsung decided to plant its roots in Newberry, South Carolina. More than 1,200 people now work at the plant that houses the company’s first U.S. based home appliance manufacturing facility. Recently Benjamin Nichols needed barrels of oil for the assembly line. It was down, so time equals money and they needed help asap. Piedmont Delivery Service to the rescue. Our driver was first dispatched to Columbia, South Carolina for the pick-up only to be told Spartanburg was now where he needed to be for picking up the oil barrels. We turned around and headed to Samsung where Benjamin was waiting for us, motioning us past the long lines of trucks to back up close to the facility. Let’s just say they were happy to see us. Following their company slogan, Together for Tomorrow, we too are happy to help. We call it The Piedmont Difference!
