Leaving on a Jet Plane

If you have visited family or friends in the Midwest, you are probably familiar with the family-owned grocery store chain Meijer. The Supercenter stores are located throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. They offer more than groceries, and are known for departments offering fashion, automotive, home decor, electronics and even banking. This allows customers to shop for everything they need with just one trip to the store. The grandsons of the founder are now running the company. Recently a major line went down at their food distribution center in Lansing, Michigan. Speed dial Piedmont Delivery Service on a Sunday morning. This delivery was needed urgently with the question, could we pick up the part and meet their pilot at the airport. Coordination is the name of our game, we met their pilot Nick Gurrad and the parts were on their way via jet to Lansing, Michigan. Just another example of The Piedmont Difference!
