Leading beyond chemistry is the slogan Evonik proudly displays in its logo. The company is worldwide and focuses on specialty chemicals used in diverse products and industries, ranging from automotive to pharmaceuticals. Evonik Industries is active in more than 100 countries and its humble beginnings can be traced to Mobile, Alabama in the 1970’s. That’s where Piedmont Delivery Service stepped in to lend a helping hand. Ronald Chestang needed a large motor on Friday afternoon. Since this is the company’s largest chemical manufacturing plant in North America, the need was great, so as promised, Piedmont Delivery Service rolled up to the plant at 1:50am to get them back on course with the much needed large motor. We call that The Piedmont Difference!
