Good to the Last Drop
If you’ve ever been to downtown Jacksonville, Florida on the riverfront, you’ve seen the iconic Maxwell House coffee manufacturing plant. There’s a story about how the “good to the last drop” phrase became the brand’s enduring slogan. As the story goes, it was President Theodore Roosevelt who visited the Maxwell House Hotel in 1907 and, after drinking the hotel’s signature coffee brand, enthusiastically declared it was “good to the last drop”. Today, in Jacksonville, the plant employs more than 200 people and they needed parts to keep the coffee brewing. J.L. Rhome reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service and our driver pulled up to the plant at 6:19 pm with the needed parts in hand. Keeping the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the air to the last drop. We call it The Piedmont Difference!
