Builders FirstSource is the nation’s largest supplier of structural building products. Founded in 1998, the company has grown to 565 distribution and manufacturing locations, in a total of 42 states. In West Point, Virginia, James Buckley called on Piedmont Delivery Service to deliver a large motor, so large in fact, it required Piedmont Delivery’s special transport van. The call came in on Thursday, but with the plant closing at 11:00pm, same-day delivery was rescheduled to the next day at the company’s request. No problem; special deliveries custom designed for our customers’ needs is what sets Piedmont Delivery Service apart from the rest. Our driver arrived at Builders FirstSource the next day at 9:00am and we call that The Piedmont Difference!
