In the U.S. it's believed the first permanent American brick could be found in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1621. Today, one of the companies in the Southeast lifting a heavy hand of bricks is U.S. Brick with headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina. Scotty Blackmon who works in their Columbia, South Carolina facility needed some help with not one, but two parts in the same day. He knew who to call.
