The home shopping network is now considered one of the world’s leading video and eCommerce retailers. Its programming is distributed to more than 290 million homes worldwide through operations in the U.S, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, and Italy. What you may not know is that in 2000 QVC set up a distribution warehouse in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The Edgecombe County plant employs more than 1,000 people and it’s here where Edward Newberry needed a motor on a Friday night.
