Monday Holidays

Every year we celebrate several federal holidays that fall on a Monday. Valentine’s Day, which this year falls on a Friday, is not one of them, but there are five to be exact. Last month it was the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. and this month its President’s Day. Of course, many businesses are closed to observe federal holidays. For Piedmont Delivery Service, we understand that production lines run 24/7 and don’t get the day off. As true to form, it always seems we are busier on holidays and that was the case recently when Ben Anderson with Michelin needed an electrical switch pronto. Our driver literally picked up the switch and dropped it off at their manufacturing facility in Norwood, North Carolina to get them back up and running. President’s Day is right around the corner, on Monday, so know if you need us, we deliver, even on the holiday. We call it The Piedmont Difference!
