Sunday Drive
A Sunday afternoon drive typically means there is no destination and no rush. It all started in the 1920’s and 1930’s where the automobile was used for a leisurely drive on a Sunday afternoon. That wasn’t exactly the case recently on a Sunday afternoon for Piedmont Delivery Service. Voestalpine Automotive in White, Georgia needed an electrical part - you guessed it on Sunday afternoon.
With roughly 5,600 employees and 15 production sites worldwide, the automotive company services customers in Europe, China, the United States and South Africa. When Jacelyn Long said they needed the part, we didn’t realize the urgency until we pulled up to the manufacturing site in Georgia to see 10 people waiting for us. When every second counts, you can always count on Piedmont Delivery Service!
