Piedmont Delivery Service has a lot of company on the roads this holiday season. AAA is projecting more Americans will travel by car this year than ever before. In fact the 102.1 million people expected to pack up their cars for road trips are the most since AAA began tracking holiday travel in 2001. The worst day for travel…. Thursday, December 20th. It’s estimated you can plan for delays up to four times a normal trip. Ouch! For all of us at Piedmont Delivery Service, we understand that faulty motors and gears don’t always happen at the best of times. Take for example, Poevis Lewis Junior who needed a gear motor at Quickrete in Birmingham, Alabama. The entire plant was idle waiting for the part. Piedmont Delivery Service to the rescue! Our driver was there to get them back up and running by 11:00pm. So as you prepare to take to the road this holiday season, please pack your patience and have a safe and Happy Holiday!
