The Southeast continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and helping them along the way is the National Cement Company. Its subsidiaries stretch from California to several locations in the Southeast, including a manufacturing facility in Ragland, Alabama. The plant recently wrapped up a two-year, $300 million-dollar project to install cement production equipment to reduce its carbon footprint. It’s here, Doug Johnson reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service early on a Monday morning, needing some parts. Not exactly how you want to start off a Monday, but not to worry, our driver arrived in Ragland before noon at 11:00 a.m. to keep the plant running smoothly.
