Years ago in Milan, Italy a young businessman realized there was a need for products for the building industry, specifically adhesives for laying floors and floor coverings. MAPEI opened its doors in 1937 and as the flooring industry grew so did MAPEI now, with new products and manufacturing centers worldwide. One of those facilities is in Dalton, Georgia. Eric Herring, who works at the facility was in desperate need for a small part to keep the plant running. Piedmont Delivery Service to the rescue! Our driver picked up the part and rushed it to the plant, navigating what is known as only those who drive through Atlanta late in the afternoon know, the traffic nightmare that’s gone from bad to downright abysmal.
