Desperation is best described as a state of hopelessness. Never a good feeling. Many times, people do crazy things when they are desperate. Fortunately, Roy Torbich with General Mills in Covington, Georgia knew what to do and who to call to help him when he encountered a somewhat desperate situation. His plant shut down due to a faulty part. Piedmont Delivery Service was called to step in, pick up the part at 5pm and rush it to Covington, Georgia. Our professional driver knows the way, and was able to arrive on the spot at 8:30pm. General Mills operates in more than 100 countries and is responsible for many of the brands you know, from Cheerios to Wheaties, Nature Valley, to Betty Crocker and Pillsbury, just to name a few.

With the General Mills plant back up and running, we can only imagine the sweet smell of General Mills goodies running through the motions of a plant back in operation. General Mills believes food brings us joy and nourishes our lives, we are glad to keep it that way.

All My Best,
