The Future Looks Sweet

We're counting down the days until Christmas, and if we were a betting person, we would assume you’ve already been tempted by some Christmas sweets. For the Ferrara Candy Company in Augusta, Georgia, they’ve been sharing their delight in every bite since 1908. That’s when Salvatore Ferrara began selling candy-coated almonds from his bakery in Chicago’s Little Italy. Now they are making the all-too-familiar Brach’s candy canes, Laffy Taffy, and the candy staple Sweetarts, just to name a few. M. Diaz reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service recently, needing a part to keep the manufacturing lines rolling. Our driver pulled up to the Augusta, Georgia, facility with parts in hand at 12:25 p.m. From our vantage point, the future looks mighty sweet.

All My Best,
