It’s not often Piedmont Delivery Service can say we had a hand in space exploration, but that is indeed the case. David Zebuth of United Launch Alliance Delta IV Operations in Cape Canaveral, Florida needed some parts on Wednesday and our driver pulled up to the site at 8:30 pm. To give you a quick history, just a few days ago, a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket climbed through space carrying a pair of prototype satellites to orbit on the first of what is planned to be dozens of launches for Amazon. United Launch Alliance is one of the nation’s most experienced launch server providers, delivering more than 155 missions to orbit. The last mission for the Delta IV is scheduled to launch in 2024.
