For the Love of Cheese

As we soon gather for the Holidays, the preparations have begun to make sure our kitchen is well stocked for the arrival of family and friends. Most likely, our grocery list included some varieties of cheese. And for Great Lakes Cheese, their busy season is at full throttle. When Tonya Weiland recently reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service not once, but twice needing parts in one week, we were happy to make a second trip to their Manchester, Tennessee manufacturing facility. Great Lakes Cheese opened its first Southeastern facility in Manchester, Tennessee back in 2013. The company was founded in 1958 by Swiss immigrant Hans Epprecht. Since then, Great Lakes manufactures and distributes award-winning processed and natural cheeses nationally through plants across the United States. So, for the Love of Cheese, we say thank you and wish you and your family safe travels this Thanksgiving Holiday.
