The year was 1943, and Russell Arrundel and his family started the Island Bottling company on Long Island, New York. The family bottled and distributed Pepsi with only four trucks. Today, that same company is now called Pepsi Bottling Ventures. PBV is considered one of the largest privately-held bottling companies with brands you know. In operation are 17 bottling and distribution sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and Delaware. It was in Winston Salem, North Carolina where Olanda Vaughn needed some parts on a Wednesday afternoon. Piedmont Delivery Service is always your go-to when you need same-day delivery.
