Beating The Storm

Another winter blast is making its way across the country, bringing with it frigid cold temperatures dipping below zero and lots of snow. In the delivery service industry, weather can definitely impact our travel schedule. Take for example our customers at D & W Fine Pack in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Midwest has been socked with weekly storms and Indiana just happens to be in the line of its powerful punch. Bill Bratten needed a large motor on Thursday night with a storm brewing in his path. D & W Fine Pack offers packaging solutions with one of the company’s two Innovation Centers located in Fort Wayne. To beat the storm, Piedmont Delivery Service picked up the motor at 6:00pm and drove straight there to get the plant back up and running. We made it and we want to remind everyone to be safe out there, snow and ice are not a good driving combination.
