One Pail at a Time

M&M Industries is a plastic pail manufacturer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Its humble beginnings grew from a family business and continues to thrive today. In the 1960’s Mr. Morris, an inventor, saw the need for a “child-resistant” cap and developed one, along with multiple patents for his ideas. Today the company is owned and operated by his son, Glenn Morris, with several hundred employees in manufacturing plants in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Phoenix, Arizona. It was in Chattanooga where Chris Self needed three motors for the manufacturing plant. A quick call to Piedmont Delivery Service and they were on their way. In the meantime, there was a chance encounter of serendipity. Our driver, Lynn Henderson Johnson was actually a high school friend and classmate of Chris Self. The Boiling Springs, South Carolina twosome talked briefly and of course took a selfie. To say it’s a small world … well we will let you be the judge. All in a day’s work at Piedmont Delivery Service.
