Wall-to-Wall
Transporting large motors is what sets Piedmont Delivery Service apart from other carriers. You can see our fleet of vans in motion on highways east of the Mississippi. Recently we got a call from James Gardner with Lees Carpet in Glasgow, Virginia. That’s where they make 95% of Mohawk’s carpet tiles. The plant was built in the 1930’s and produced woven wool carpet until it was converted into a carpet tile facility by Burlington Mills. In 2003 it was sold to Mohawk Industries, Inc. and since then has undergone a $10 million dollar expansion. Gardner needed a large motor asap and Piedmont Delivery Service rolled up to the facility at midnight to keep the operation in motion. Mohawk is considered one of the world’s largest flooring providers, and with a little help from Piedmont Delivery Service, we intend to keep it that way.
All My Best,
