Back-to-school season means packing lunches and snacks, and one longtime favorite is Lance crackers. With roots in the Carolinas, Lance began when Philip Lance turned 500 pounds of surplus peanuts into a successful business. Today, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based operation produces millions of peanut butter sandwich crackers, cookies, chips, and other snack favorites enjoyed across the country. When Conner Semon needed important parts delivered to keep the operation running, he knew who to call. Piedmont Delivery Service was on the road and arrived at the Charlotte plant at 5:45 p.m. As families head back to school and stock their snack cabinets, we're proud to play a small role in keeping one of America's favorite snack brands running smoothly.
