Pellet Mills

Did you know that the state of Georgia is considered the number one forestry state in the nation? Taking advantage of these resources is a company called Archer Forest Products. It’s a division of Fram Renewable Fuels. Fram was established in 2005 as a supplier of wood pellets to the growing European industrial market. So tucked away in the southeast corner of rural Georgia is Archer, an unassuming plant that is rooted locally and growing internationally. Bill Mitchell reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service needing a large part on a Monday. All of their pellets are made from raw materials: in-wood chips, trees that are chipped in the forest, or whole trees brought to the facility, requiring hefty machinery. Our driver loaded up and arrived in Nahunta, Georgia around 3:47pm on Monday afternoon. Our promise of same-day delivery meets expectations every time, and we call that The Piedmont Difference!
