In the late 1800’s, the first newspaper ad for Coca-Cola appeared in The Atlanta Journal, inviting folks to try a new and popular soda fountain drink. The syrup was created by a pharmacist and sold for five cents a glass as a soda fountain drink. A lot has changed over the years, and now, with hundreds of bottling companies dotted across the country, one of the largest is located in Montgomery, Alabama. What’s unique about the Montgomery plant is that it not only produces and bottles Coca-Cola, but it is also home to one of the nation’s fastest Dasani production lines. That’s right, the plant also produces and distributes Dasani, Powerade, Minute Maid, and much more. Terry Pringle needed some parts to keep the Montgomery Coca-Cola Bottling Company running smoothly, and he knew who to call. Piedmont Delivery Service was dispatched on a Wednesday, and our driver pulled up to the facility at 9:40 p.m. Cheers to 2024!
