Dodging Stormy Weather

Two weeks of stormy weather marching across the Southeast, bringing with it rain and strong winds is always a cause for concern. Our professional drivers with Piedmont Delivery Service never truly know what to expect when it comes to the weather. Our promise of same-day delivery though is a promise we keep. We found ourselves in Friday’s torrential rainstorm in North Carolina when Darrell Hill with Kellogg’s Snacks needed a small part in Cary, North Carolina. Kellogg’s manufacturing facility in Cary, just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina employs more than 750 people and is best known for its bakery, making some of our favorite snacks, including Cheez-its and Lance Snack Crackers. We arrived with the part at 8:00pm Friday night to get their line back up and running. We call that The Piedmont Difference!
