We’ve come to depend on our Amazon deliveries, especially when the weather is challenging with arctic blasts and frigid temperatures. But even Amazon needs a helping hand from Piedmont Delivery Service. Nathan Lee, who works at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Virginia, needed a part on a Friday afternoon. A little over a year ago, Amazon opened its new 460,000-square-foot processing facility in Chesapeake. It’s the global e-tailer’s first cross-dock fulfillment center in Virginia. Our driver pulled up to the facility at 8:45 p.m. As their official slogan of 2024 reminds us, we will continue to “work hard, have fun, and make history.” We call it The Piedmont Difference!
