Hungry for some Tostitos, or maybe some Sun Chips? The Frito Lay brands are manufactured in Frito Lay’s Aberdeen, Maryland facility which opened its doors in 1994, now employing about 400 workers. However, the corn chip king dates back to the 1930’s when C.E. Doolin entered a cafe in San Antonio, Texas and bought some tasty corn chips. He ended up buying the recipe and making them out of his mother’s kitchen. The rest they say is history, with today’s total of 29 snack brands. Ramanuja Sreenivasan reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service needing a part to keep the chips in production. Our driver arrived with the part in hand at 2:40am.
