Honoring Our Veterans

Today is a federal holiday, one in which we should all celebrate and honor America’s Veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve for the common good. The holiday was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on November 11th because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. In 1954, the holiday was changed to “Veterans Day” to remember veterans in all wars. This is a day for us to pay our respects to those who have sacrificed and served. For on this day, we stand united in respect for you, our veterans. Take time to thank one of our many veterans for their service.

Respectfully Yours,
