Ford Needs a Helping Hand
The United Auto Workers strike continues to make headline news involving three unionized automakers. Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Stellantis. Ford Motor Company is well represented in Louisville, Kentucky. The Ford-F series Super Duty is built at a Kentucky truck plant alongside the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, while the Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair are built nearby at yet another Louisville assembly plant. Some 12,000 union workers are still on the job in Louisville, but it was here the assembly plant needed some parts. Piedmont Delivery Service came to the rescue, and our driver was dispatched and made it to Louisville by 6:20 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. Cary Vowels appreciated the quick service, and Piedmont Delivery Service is always glad to lend a helping hand.
