Delivering on Cinco de Mayo Spirit

In just a few weeks, Cinco de Mayo will be here — a celebration of Mexican heritage often enjoyed with margaritas, tacos, and plenty of chips and tortillas. While many celebrate, the day actually commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over French forces on May 5, 1862, not to be confused with Mexico’s Independence Day. That celebration of tradition and pride is something Marcelino Solis knows well. After the popularity of his restaurant’s chips and tortillas took off, he founded La Chiquita Tortilla and today, millions of cases are sold annually. When operations needed to keep rolling, Travar Goobby knew who to call. Piedmont Delivery Service was on the move, arriving at the plant in Atlanta at exactly 7:00 p.m., motor in hand and ready to keep production running without missing a beat. From one family-owned business to another, we truly appreciate your continued support and loyalty.

That’s what we call The Piedmont Difference!

All My Best,
