Back to School Snacks

It’s that time of year, time to head back to school. The summer months have flown by, and the back-to-school routine is calling. Snacks are a top priority during and after school, and many of the snacks we know all too well are made just a few hours away in Rome, Georgia. The Kellogg’s manufacturing plant is there, and with a new name comes the same product. A couple of years ago, Kellogg finalized its separation of its U.S. cereal business, forming a new company called Kellanova. They make the all-too-familiar Rice Krispies Treats, Fruit Streamers, Cheez-Its and much more. So when Lee Thaxton called Piedmont Delivery Service needing some parts to keep the operation running, our driver was ready to go and arrived in Rome, Georgia, at 9:50 p.m. Wishing everyone, both parents and children, a successful school year!
