A Powerful Delivery in Jacksonville

Many years ago, in the late 1800s, the city of Jacksonville, Florida established Jacksonville Electric, operating and managing the city’s electric system. Fast forward to today, and JEA has grown into the largest community-owned utility in Florida and one of the largest in the United States. Recently, Kenneth Jones reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service needing a large motor to help keep the utility in motion. Our driver was quickly on the road, making the same-day delivery and arriving at 8:28 p.m. — another example of what we proudly call The Piedmont Difference. As a side note, we’d also like to wish good luck to all our golfing friends playing in and watching The Players Championship this week in that area. Held at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, the famous Pete Dye-designed course is known worldwide for its iconic Island Green.
