A Southern Tradition

If you’ve lived in the South for any length of time, you’ve probably had a few RC Colas. The soft drink that originated in Columbus, Georgia has a storied history dating back to 1905. In fact, in the 1940’s, it won out in blind taste tests, as the Best of the Best. In the 1980’s, it made its way overseas and is known worldwide. In the U.S., it can be found in Louisville, Kentucky, where it is bottled at 7 Up RC Bottling Company. It’s here Joshua Edick needed a motor on a Thursday night, which just happened to be one of the busiest July 4th holiday traffic days on record. Our experienced drivers at Piedmont Delivery Service know the roads all too well, and made it safely to Louisville, Kentucky on time at 1:00am, to keep the bottles moving. Here’s to keeping the southern tradition alive and that old 1950’s country song, “A RC Cola and a Moon-pie.”
