Late Friday night and most of us were on our way to our holiday weekend celebration… as Labor Day usually marks the end of summer. For drivers at Piedmont Delivery Service, Friday night was an opportunity to help a customer in need. As it always seems to be the case, a faulty electrical part isn’t a part of the holiday weekend plan. Danny Peters with Chicopee North America in Waynesboro, Virginia needed the electrical part to keep the operation running smoothly. Chicopee specializes in packaged wipes for Foodservice, industrial and health care applications. A pick-up Friday night at 5:30pm was in order to deliver the part by Saturday morning at 2:30am.. In very busy holiday traffic. Customer service at your best, and we call that The Piedmont Difference!
