When it comes to the business of lifting, Konecranes in Kalamazoo, Michigan sets the bar pretty high as one of the world’s go to companies serving a broad range of customers in the manufacturing industries, shipyards, ports and terminals. The company employs more than 17,000 employees at 600 locations in 50 countries. It was in Kalamazoo where there was a need for a hoist. The dilemma became apparent when we learned of the early Friday afternoon closing where the hoist was located in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Not to worry, thanks to some strategic maneuvering Piedmont Delivery Service was able to dispatch a driver three miles away in Lilesville, North Carolina and make the pick-up before closing. With the hoist on board, the delivery was made on time at 7:30 Monday morning. We call that The Piedmont Difference!
