With headquarters in Brazil and Executive Offices in Simpsonville, SC, Fitesa operates eleven manufacturing facilities in eight countries. In the 1970’s the company was established to make polypropylene packaging. A technology breakthrough and more sophisticated applications lead to products in hygienic disposables. A large manufacturing facility in the Upstate is the site where materials are made for consumer goods such as baby diapers and adult continence products. Randy Satterfield with Fitesa needed a large conveyor belt out of Atlanta for the Upstate manufacturing facility. Piedmont Delivery Service is equipped with a large transport van designed to haul large, heavy and cumbersome machinery items just like conveyor belts. The initial pickup time was set for 4:00pm, but it was ready a little earlier, so our driver headed out the door early, made the pickup at 2:30pm and rushed back to make the delivery to Fitesa. A little teamwork goes a long way for a same day delivery, we call it the Piedmont Difference!
