Timing is Everything

Jordan Lumber & Supply Company is located in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina and has been in business since the 1930’s. It’s become one of the most respected mills on the east coast and is considered one of the largest privately owned lumber companies in the country. Late Friday afternoon is never a good time to need a part, but that’s exactly what Derrick Saunders with Jordan Lumber needed. Specifically a roller bearing from Ina Bearings in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Our driver at Piedmont Delivery Service was able to wait for the part and then make a rush delivery to Mt. Gilead. Taking into consideration rush hour traffic in Charlotte, North Carolina, we were able to deliver the roller bearing in three hours. Back to work, just in time for the weekend without missing a beat.
